Museum antique faience plate, decorative plate, Eugène Rose de Beauharnais, depicting Napoleon's adopted son in the victorious, conquering battle. Based on a painting by Henri Scheffer.

Eugène rose de beauharnais (Paris, September 3, 1781 - Munich, February 21, 1824), French military officer, son of Josephine de Beauharnais, general of the revolution and the first empire, adopted son of Emperor Napoleon, member of the French imperial family, France prince (prince de france), viceroy of the kingdom of Italy, prince of Venice (prince de venise), grand duke of Frankfurt (grand-duc de francfort), first titular prince of Leuchtenberg (herzog von leuchtenberg) and first prince of eichstätt (fürst zu eichstätt). According to historians, he was one of the most talented politicians and generals among Napoleon's family members.
