Hand-painted, bicycle motif, flat-sided, blown, measured, 3 dl glass beer mug from Germany, with handle appliqué, decorated with intricate cut glass, with lid from the 1890s.
Height: 18.5 cm
In good condition for its age, with minor, unobtrusive usage scratches on the base.
Collector's item! During the 1890s, safety bicycles replaced large-wheeled bikes, and this motif was popular on ceramics, pewter, and porcelain beer mugs, but very rare on glass beer mugs!
