Antique Art Deco BROCKWITZ 'ARIADNE' Uranium Glass Bowl 1929

Antique uranium glass BROCKWITZ bowl from the 'ARIADNE' collection, produced only between 1929 and 1931. Nearly 100 years old. Features a wavy rim with a rose pattern, which is embossed and finished with original factory-fired gold enamel (Glanzgold). The material contains air bubbles, characteristic of the technology of that era. The bowl's material includes uranium oxide, which is very rare in blue. When illuminated with a 395 nm UV lamp, it fluoresces with a creamy, green glow. It is in display condition, flawless. No cracks or chips! The gold decoration is intact, with only a small wear spot visible in the last photo. Diameter: 21.5 cm, height: 10 cm. Weight: 1191 grams, made of thick glass, over 1 kg.
