About the artist: Géza Zórád (1890-1969) painter. Active from the early 20th century until the 1960s. Studied in Budapest and Munich. From 1907, exhibited figurative landscapes in oil and pastel techniques at the National Salon and the Art Hall. Also worked as an illustrator, creating numerous drawings for newspapers. The influence of the Munich school is evident throughout his art. His paintings mainly feature landscapes and figurative scenes, executed with meticulous detail.
