About the artist: Painter, graphic artist. He started his art studies in 1928 at György Szüts' free school in Budapest. Later, between 1928-1930, he studied at the Kecskemét Artist Colony under Imre Révész. He graduated from the Budapest Academy of Fine Arts. His teachers included István Csók, Oszkár Glatz, and László Kandó. In 1935, he received the Székely Bertalan Prize in his final year. He traveled to Italy, Czechoslovakia, and Austria for study trips. He worked multiple times in Hortobágy, Hódmezővásárhely, and Mártély. He painted Great Plain landscapes and portraits, and made linocuts. Exhibited from 1935. Solo exhibitions at the Thorma J. Museum in Kiskunhalas (1971) and the Szőnyi Room in Miskolc (1987). Participated in group exhibitions such as the National Salon (1936, 1937), Ernst Museum (1938), and the Műcsarnok (1938, 1942, 1943, 1951). His works are in Hungarian public collections, including the Kecskemét Gallery. Co-authored a book titled 'Poet and Painter' with Nagy Ferencc Náday.
