For sale is the special mood and rare themed oil painting depicting General József Bem in Ottoman military uniform, as Murád Pasha.
The portrait shows the legendary figure of the Hungarian War of Independence during his exile in Turkey. The pencil inscription "Bem" on the back directly confirms the subject of the portrait.

- Documentation: The back bears the original, stamped label of the renowned Almáskeresztúr JOHE-Gallery (JOHE Foundation) (Jury price: 45,000 HUF, L. number: YY-109), where the work was previously sold.
- Dimensions: Image size: 59 x 48 cm | With frame: 63 x 52 cm.
- Frame: Period, gilded wooden frame.
- Condition: The paint layer has cracked in several places, appears airy, and is slightly flaking! (see photos)
