Old antique, secession style faience 9-piece spice container set Ditmar Urbach

Antique, Art Nouveau style faience spice jar set from the early 20th century (from the Ditmar Urbach factory) consists of two differently sized, square-shaped, characteristic blue patterned and in the center decorated with a rose bouquet ceramic containers:

• Large storage jars (back): Designed for storing basic dry kitchen goods and ingredients. The labels visible in the picture: Lentils, Rice, Semolina, Coffee, Noodles.
• Small spice jars (front): Used for finer powdered or more intense spices. The labels visible in the picture: Ginger, Pepper, Cinnamon, Clove.
• Brand: Ditmar-Urbach AG. The factory was established by the merger of the renowned Austrian Rudolf Ditmar's heirs and the Czech Urbach brothers' companies in 1919.
• • Place of origin: Czechoslovakia (as confirmed by the surrounding “Made in Czechoslovakia” inscription). The factory operated in the Trnovany area of the Czech Republic (Znaim/Teplice region).
  • The logo: The characteristic round-shaped stamp features a winged “Z” letter in the center, referring to the Znaim (Znojmo) manufacturing unit.
