Armand Adrien Marie Apol (Brüsszel, 1879 - 1950):
Festő és litográfus volt. 1891 és 1901 között a brüsszeli Művészeti Akadémián tanult, többek között Constant Montald mellett. 1901-ben a Le Sillon művészegyesület tagja lett. Impresszionista-realista stílusban festett tájak, régi város sarkai és tengeri tájak. Sokat dolgozott festői óvárosokban és falvakban, mint például Brugge, Mechelen és Lissewege. Apol emellett ügyes grafikus (rézkarc és litográfus) volt, aki saját kompozíciói mellett más mesterek, köztük Valerius De Saedeleer és Jakob Smits műveinek másolatait is elkészítette.
