1959-66 Between 1959 and 1966 he studied at the College of Fine Arts, his teachers were János Kmetty and György Kádár. From 1969 he taught at the college/university, from 1991 he became a university professor. He lived in Szentendre from 1969. From 1977 to 1990, he was the organizer and leader of the Makó graphic artist colony.
He made several study trips to different places in the world: Moscow, Leningrad, Paris, Florence, Venice, Havana, USA, Portugal.
