The ami ami chair was made by tokujin yoshioka for the Kartel brand. The name of the chair is Japanese, which means "to weave" in English.

The design of this chair is inspired by how patterns and textures intertwine on a fabric. The innovative designer wanted to create a copy of the stylistic woven icons seen in his home country of Japan. The design is one where angular lines create a rich contrast with the weave. This effect is achieved by putting the inner and outer surfaces through an industrial process that recreates the pattern in a single form. The chair is made of transparent or solid-colored polycarbonate, so it is also suitable for outdoor use. Its backrest is slightly tilted back, so you can relax completely while sitting in it. The shell is supported by a frame that has straight front legs and slightly flared rear legs to effectively support weight and last longer.

The Ami Ami chair is 41 cm wide, 85 cm high and 50 cm deep. Seat height 46 cm.

Since the chairs are used, there are small scratches on them that are not noticeable.
