Petőfi Sándort ábrázoló, kétoldalas, sima peremű emlékérem. Előoldalán "PETŐFI.SÁNDOR" körírat, középen Petőfi jobb profilú mellképe látható, Hátoldalának középen 18 mm-es kiemelkedő mezőben háromsoros szöveg: "HABÁR FELÜL A GÁLYA,/S ALUL A VÍZNEK ÁRJA,/AZÉRT A VÍZ AZ ÚR!", olvasható. Felette gyalogos huszáralakok négy) jelennek meg, kürttel, dobbal, zászlóval, ágyúval. A felirat alatt három lovashuszár egymás mögötti alakja látható, az első előtt a tervező szignója. "BB" jelenik meg.
