Courage Brewery, founded in 1787 in the Anchor Brewhouse in England, is an iconic, famous English brewery fire enamel cockerel advertising drink plate holder.
The base is silver-plated, hammered copper, it has a fire-enamel cock on a copper base (with minimal enamel loss) and the back is also silver-plated, with the manufacturer's mark inside: j.R.Gaunt london. Inscriptions written on a silver-plated plate on both sides: something to crow about and courage established 1787.
Dimensions: base 7.7 x 4.7 cm, height 5.5 cm.
