Festő, grafikus. Tanulmányait az Iparművészeti Főiskolán végezte, mestere Körösfői-Kriesch Aladár volt. 1913-ban Münchenben, 1914-ben Párizsban járt tanulmányúton. Egy rövid időre hazajött, majd Bécsben és Olaszországban, 1937-től Dániában dolgozott, csak a II. világháborút követően tért haza. A 60-as években gyakran járt a kecskeméti művésztelepen. Számos kiállításon, a többi közt a Nemzeti Szalon tárlatain vett részt. Pályája elején naturalista stílusú műveket festett, később a modern irányzatok, főleg a kubizmus kezdte érdekelni. Művei a Nemzeti Galériában, Pécsen és Szentendrén találhatóak.
