Graphic designer Károly Raszler was born in Nagymaros, and began his studies at the Budapest School of Industrial Design. From 1947 to 1949, he was a student at the College of Applied Arts. From 1953 to 1991, with interruptions, he became a teacher and then head teacher of the Department of Duplicating Graphics at the College of Fine Arts in Budapest. Exhibiting artist since 1954. He received numerous awards: the Münkacsy Prize in 1954 and 1959, 1966, he became a meritorious artist in 1970, an excellent artist in 1984, and he was awarded the Kossuth Prize in 1975. He was elected an honorary member of the Florentine Academy in 1964. Major exhibitions: Ernst Museum 1958, Berlin 1968, Miskolc 1974, Vác 1984.
