Tibor Cs. (Csabai) Uhrin was born in Békéscsaba in 1936. He finished his studies at the college in 1963. His teachers were Gyula Hincz, Ernő Schubert and Zoltan Rákossy. He has lived in Debrecen since 1970 as a member of the Nagyerde artist colony. He wanted to achieve perfection, created graphics, oil paintings, watercolors, and plastic works, but he found his true self in the fire enamel painting technique. He was a playfully experimental artist, he went through the schools of isms, mainly in his graphics, he was most influenced by the specific world of surrealism.
