Festő, grafikus. A budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskolán Pór Bertalan és Szőnyi István voltak a mesterei. Díjak: 1953-54-ben a Művelődésügyi Minisztérium ösztöndíja, a Szocialista Kultúráért kitüntetés. 1969-től a zebegényi szabadiskola tanáraként tevékenykedett. 1953-tól kiállító művész. Művei megtalálhatóak a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában.
