Zoltán Sujó was born in 1944 in Endród. After graduating from the window dressing school, he settled in Salgótarján in 1968, where he worked as a graphic artist at various institutions (the county cultural center, the Nógrád county food retail company, etc.). He was a participant in several individual and group exhibitions. He was regularly featured in the spring exhibitions in Salgótarján and the exhibitions of the regional organization. From 1968, he was a member of the Fine Arts Studio of Nógrád County, and from 1976 of the Art Foundation of the Hungarian People's Republic. In 1975, he received the madách prize for his series "archival notebooks", on the pages of which he combined the events of the past with the human destinies of everyday life. He died in Sümegen in 1986.

His graphics, which have a unique tone, are inventive and can be considered bravely virtuoso, make him perhaps the most significant Salgótarján graphic artist of the era. His pub and market scenes, his downtrodden existences provide a true picture of the little man of the time. In his reproduced graphics with artistic line drawings, he likes to capture downtrodden existences and bizarre happenings. His pages for the works of Ginsberg, Joyce, Bulgakov and Dylan Thomas are significant.

His life's work is scattered. Only a few collectors can claim complete graphic series.
