Festő, grafikus. 1958-ban végzett a Képzőművészeti Főiskolán, mestere Fónyi Géza volt. Európa több országában tett tanulmányutat, járt Németországban és Olaszországban. Számos kiállítása volt a fővárosban és vidéken (Pécs, Hódmezővásárhely). Számos monumentális művet is alkotott, és illusztrálással is foglalkozott. Munkásságát számos díjjal jutalmazták (Munkácsy-díj, Érdemes Művész kitüntetés, a Magyar Köztársaság Tiszti Keresztje). Munkái megtalálhatóak Szolnokon, Szentendrén, Miskolcon és Kecskeméten.
