Festő, grafikus. A budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskolán Domanovszky Endre, Kmetty János, Fónyi Géza voltak a mesterei. Díjak: 1960-63 között Derkovits-ösztöndíj, 1963-ban a Római Magyar Akadémia ösztöndíja, 1968-ban Munkácsy-díj. 1965-89 között a Művészeti Alap szaklektora. 1996-ban a Magyar Művészeti Műhely alapító tagja, illetve elnöke. 1960-ban szerepelt a Velencei Biennálén, 1964-ben kollektív tárlata volt Londonban. 1994-96 között megjelenik saját kiadású albumkatalógusa három füzetben. Munkáit a Magyar Nemzeit Galéria őrzi.
