His first drawing was published in the March 1947 issue of old reality. His first artistic writings were published in the same magazine. As a founding member of a college of fine arts, he was secretary and then director of the István Huber folk college in Dési, which opened in the spring of 1947.

In 1950, during the Rákos era, he was excluded from everywhere, for two and a half decades he lived by restoring murals and mosaics for the monument protection office.

Around 1960, he develops his abstract organic painting language, characterized by crystal and plant formations, and abstractions and free combinations of the human figure.
