Béla Stettner (1928-1984) Münkacsy Award winner, meritorious graphic artist, sculptor. He belonged to the generation of artists that started at the end of the 1940s. He studied at the College of Fine Arts from 1947 to 1952, his teachers were Róbert Berény, János Kmetty and Károly Koffán. Stettner was a regular participant in domestic and foreign graphic art exhibitions. He had individual exhibitions in the capital (gallery), in the countryside and abroad (Vienna), but also participated in group exhibitions (Berlin, Tokyo, Paris). He participated in the work of several art groups and was a founding member of the "nines".
