A karlsruhe majolika, hires modernista törekvéseiről. Olyan tervezőket alkalmazott, mint a wiener werkstäte-és Walter Bosse, vagy Friedegart Glatzle, Martha Katzer. Ez a váza valószínűleg Friedegart Glatzle tervei alapján készült.
A femsós, eozinhoz hasonlatos máz, a zöld szín több árnyalatával ér el különleges hatást. A savmaratással elért matt felület, pedig a váza formájára irányítja a figyelmet.
