Ifj. Szabó Mihály az Alföldön feltárt középkori-reneszánsz cserépdarabok tanulmányozásával és elkészítésével alakította ki sajátos mintavilágát. Ebből készített tárgysorozatokat, melyeket sajátos egyéni formavilágával egészített ki.
