"TEIMEL ISTVÁN fazekas [Óbánya (Baranya megye). 1910 - 1982] Ősei a 18. századi betelepítéssel érkeztek Baranyába, magukkal hozva a mesterségbeli tudásukat. Az elődöktől örökölt mintakincset saját elgondolása szerint fejlesztette tovább. Irókával díszített fazekak, vajköpülők, eceteskorsók, kuglófsütők, cseréplábasok kerültek ki a keze alól. Tányérjain a kimetszett minták gazdag variációi jelentek meg. 1966-ban lett népi iparművész. 1973-ban a Népművészet Mestere."
