Vén edit marked glazed tile mural, on the back with the jury mark of the applied arts company. Image size: 15 x 15 cm, framed size: 17.5 x 17.5 cm. In beautiful, flawless condition.
Vén edit was born in 1937 and graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts. Masters: Miklós Borsos, Árpád Csekovszky. Since 1974, he has been creating tile pictures, on which the stylized female figures, peacocks, and butterflies are framed by decorative plant ornaments that also draw from Art Nouveau. He complements the richly proliferating black patterned motifs with colorful, transparent glazes on the white-based tile images. His works can also be found in the collection of the Museum of Applied Arts.
