A torinói lepel 4,36 m hosszú és 1,10 méter széles vászonlepel. 1578 óta a torinói székesegyházban őrzik. A leplen elöl-és hátulnézetben felismerhető egy keresztre feszített ember képe. Az anyagon sérülések láthatók egy 1532-ben kiütött tűz következtében. A kép a hosszant futó égési nyomok között épn megmaradt. Több mint száz éve szenvedélyes viták tárgya ez a vászon.
