Die holzmöbel der sammlung figdor. Publisher: artaria & co. Vienna, 1907. The large (34x26 cm) German-language publication dr. A detailed presentation of the wooden furniture of Albert figdor, an Austrian Jewish art collector, on 122 pages with 150 illustrations.
The collection consists of rare objects from the Renaissance and contemporary times. In 1891 dr. Figdor offered to donate his art and Judaica collections to the Vienna Art Museum, but was turned down because of his origins. Over the years, the collections have been sold to collectors and museums around the world. The two largest auctions were held after figdor's death in 1930 in Vienna and Berlin. A part of the Judaica collection went to the Jewish Museum in Vienna.
