In Iraq, a 407-meter long prestressed reinforced concrete bridge was built in Iraq based on Hungarian designs and with Bulgarian construction on the section of the Baghdad-Basrah highway bypassing the city of Basrah, as a bridge over the Garmat-Ali River, a branch of the Euphrates. The plans for the bridge were drawn up by Alajos Petur and Gyula Huszár in 1963. Construction began in the spring of 1965 and was completed in two years. After favorable test load results, the finished artefact was handed over in a ceremony by the Iraqi Minister of Transport in May 1967.
Due to the large size of the publication, it cannot be sent to a parcel machine.
