Made by: repoussage ([ʁəpusaʒ] a metalworking technique in which malleable metal is shaped by hammering from the reverse side to create a design in low relief.
Beautiful Middle Frisian relief, iii. In the Napoleonic style, along the leg, the belt is also hammered with leaves and relief. Underneath the base, there is a cast iron weight to stabilize the lamp. (Counterweight).
Slight impression on the sole, not visible when placed on the sole, see photo.
Glass dome, beautiful, blown, acid-etched, toothed top polished, amazing tulip glass!
