A very exceptional, hand-painted, gilded, immaculate condition, marked large Bieder tea cup antique from the 'ancient times'...

Intaglio at the bottom: p&s portheim & sons chodau,
Czech Republic, Austro-Hungarian Empire. The factory started producing porcelain in 1830. In 1845 Leopold Judah Porges von Portheim (b. 1784 – 1869) bought the factory. Since in 1841 he and his brother Mózes received the noble title of Edler von Portheim (Knight) from the Austrian Emperor Ferdinand, when Mózes and his sons joined the company in 1847, he renamed it Portheim und Sons.
In 1872, when haas & czjzek bought the factory, only haas
& Czjzek branch, named chodau.
The same milk spout and teapot can be purchased separately at auction, I can offer a discount if they are purchased together.
