1940-ben áttelepült Budapestre, majd 1946-tól Nagyváradon élt és alkotott
Kitüntetései: 1952. Román Állami díj, 1973. Kulturális Érdemrendet kapott.
Sok köztéri szobort készített, állandó kiállító művész volt.
Szobrai megtalálhatóak múzeumokban, és magán gyűjteményekben.
