What are sale limits?

It is important for Galeria Savaria that both buyers and sellers be satisfied with the transactions made on this platform. Galeria Savaria and sellers can only be effective and successful if buyers have a positive opinion about the items bought here and the customer experience provided by the platform.

In order to ensure high-quality service for buyers, we may activate listing limits for sellers.

Listing limits allow sellers to increase their sales turnover at a manageable pace, while providing high-quality customer experience to buyers.

What kind of limits can be set?

  • Limit for the maximum price of an item
    This means that the price of the listed item cannot exceed a certain amount. That is, the seller is not allowed to list items for an amount exceeding 10,000 HUF.

    This type of limit may be activated for sellers, if one or more of their high-value transactions were not completed successfully. A failed transaction brings disappointment to both the seller and the buyer. In order that the seller could fulfill their seller obligations more successfully in the future, we set a temporary limit for the price of items that can be listed.
  • Monthly limit for quantity and amount
    In this case, the seller is only allowed to list a certain number of items for a certain amount of money. That is, the seller is allowed to list a maximum of 100 items or items for a maximum amount of 200,000 HUF. The seller can constantly monitor the remaining number of items or amount for which they are allowed to list items in the given month. The limit takes into account the active items, which are for sale, and the items which have been sold.

    This type of limit may be activated if the seller has more than one seller accounts on Galeria Savaria. Managing multiple seller accounts requires more attention from the user, and they may not be able to keep their offers up-to-date across all their accounts or fully meet their seller obligations. The item upload limit helps sellers to increase their sales turnover at a manageable pace, while providing high-quality customer experience to buyers. In addition, we may also activate this type of limit on a seller account, if we want to make sure that a user who has few seller ratings completes their transactions successfully.

How can a seller limit be removed?

We ask sellers whose account has a limit that they successfully sell some items under the current settings. In this way, the seller can demonstrate that they are able to meet their seller obligations at a high level that is normally enjoyed by buyers on Galeria Savaria. Afterwards, they may contact our Customer Support to request a limit increase.

It is not allowed to register a new account in order to bypass the temporary limit. The same limit settings will be applied to the new registration as well.
