Festő. Tanulmányait a Derkovits Gyula Népi Kollégiumban
kezdte Kmetty János és Koffán Károly irányításával,
majd a Képzőművészeti Főiskolán végzett, ahol
Berény Róbert, Szőnyi István és Domanovszky Endre
voltak a mesterei. Eleinte a Balaton, később Kecskemét
környéke, végül Nagymaros és a Dunakanyar volt képeinek témája. 1953-től vesz részt kiállításokon
itthon (Budapest, Szentendre) és külföldön (Prága, Berlin, India). Munkái megtalálhatóak
a Nemzeti Galériában, Pécsen és Szegeden.
