Festő. Tanulmányait Bécsben, Münchenben és a budapesti Mintarajziskolában végezte. Mesterei l Allemand, Leitz, Benczúr Gyula voltak. Tanulmányúton járt Olaszországban és Németországban. Kisméretű eleven életképeivel, vásári jeleneteivel vált ismertté. A Műcsarnokban 1891-től, a Könyves Kálmán Szalonban 1906-ban és 1911-ben szerepelt képeivel tárlatokon. Gyűjteményes kiállítása 1931-ben volt a Műcsarnokban. Művei a Magyar Nemzeti Múzeumban, a Magyar Történelmi Képcsarnokban láthatók.
