VASS ELEMÉR BUDAPEST, 1887 - 1957, TIHANY
A jogi egyetem elvégzése után az Iparrajziskolán kezdett képzőművészeti stúdiumokba. 1917-től hadifestőként működött, utána Olasz- és Franciaországban élt. 1925-ben tért vissza Budapestre, a harmincas évek közepétől Szőnyi környezetében dolgozott Zebegényben. A Szinyei Társaság tagja volt, a Gresham-kört is látogatta. A második világháborút követően Tihanyban telepedett le.
