ABONYI ERNŐ BUDAPEST, (1884 - 1941, BUDAPEST) Festő, grafikus. A budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskolán Ferenczy Károly tanítványa volt, majd Münchenben Hollósy Simon lett a mestere. Egy évig Párizsban, a Julian Akadémián tanult. A nagybányai szabadiskolát 1917-ben látogatta. Budapesten kívül Kolozsvárott, Temesváron és Aradon is működött. Első kiállítását 1914-ben, Miskolcon, grafikai munkáiból rendezte. 1917-től résztvevője volt a Műcsarnok kiállításainak. Egy műve található a Magyar Nemzeti Galéria gyűjteményében.
