Alföldi és balatoni tájképek festője Tölgyesi Artúr (1853-1920)
Bécs után 1872-től Münchenben tanul a Képzőművészeti Akadémián, Wagner Sándor tanítványaként. Több tanulmányutat tett Belgiumban, Olaszországban és Párizsban. 1875-től állított ki rendszeresen a Műcsarnokban.
Ezt a kis méretű tájképet nagy tájképfestő készítette. A füves, fás festmény előtt egy nyári napsugaras alföldi délután emlékeink között kutatunk.
