Nemes Irén (Józsa Gerőné, művészi névváltozata: Józsa Nemes Irén; Bede,
1918. október 11. – Marosvásárhely, 2003. október 30.) erdélyi magyar
festőművész.
1936: Marosvásárhelyen végezte a Református Leánygimnáziumot.
1936-1942: Marosvásárhelyi Szabad Festőiskolában képezte magát, mesterei: Ciupe Aurel és Bordy András.
1944: összeházasodott Józsa Gerő magyartanárral, és Zilahra költöztek.
1930–1940-es
évek fordulójáról leginkább olajjal készült tanulmányszerű alkotások
maradtak fenn, melyek modelljei sokszor saját maga vagy családtagjai
voltak (pl. Önarckép bokállyal, Az alvó Gerő).
