Festő. 1928-ban végzett a Képzőművészeti Főiskolán. Csók István és Szőnyi István voltak a mesterei. 1928-tól három évig tanított Szőnyi István szabadiskolájában, akinek művészete egész életében nagyhatással volt rá. 1957-ben Lengyelországban tett tanulmányutat. Első kiállítása 1935-ben volt az Ernst Múzeumban, amit számos követett az évek során. Több műve a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában és Debrecenben található.
