Festő. A budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskolán végzett 1949-ben. Mesterei: Szőnyi István, Kandó László. 1950-től rajzpedagógusként tanított Kecskeméten, majd Budapesten. Az 1970-es évektől Zalaegerszegen működik. Alapító tagja a Pedagógusok Képzőművészeti Stúdiójának. 1953-tól szerepel kiállításokon. Első egyéni tárlatát 1977-ben rendezte Zalaegerszegen. Művei találhatók a zalaegerszegi múzeumban.
