Festő. A budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskolán végzett 1943-ban. Mesterei: Szőnyi István,
Elekfy Jenő, Varga Nándor Lajos, Nagy Sándor. 1940-ben Nemes Marcell-díjat kapott,
1944-ben pedig elnyerte a római ösztöndíjat, de a háború miatt nem utazhatott. Működését
Komáromban kezdte, majd a fővárosban, 1983-tól pedig Ikerváron alkotott. Az 1940-
es évektől kiállító művész. Egyéni tárlata volt a többi közt 1981-ben, a Képcsarnok győri
kiállítótermében, 1982-ben Budapesten. 1993-ban Szombathelyen rendezte meg életmű
kiállítását. 1998-ban Ikerváron nyílt emlékkiállítás műveiből.
