Festő. Udvary Géza festőművész fia. A budapesti Iparművészeti és Képzőművészeti Főiskolán végezte tanulmányait. Mesterei Udvary Géza, Helbing Ferenc, Újváry Ignác, Balló Ede, Olgyai Viktor voltak. Kiállításokon 1918-tól szerepelt. 1924-ben a Nemzeti Szalonban, 1928-ban a Műcsarnokban mutatkozott be műveivel. Művei a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában, a székesfehérvári István Király Múzeumban és a keszthelyi Balatoni Múzeumban találhatók.
