A budapesti Iparművészeti Iskolában Haranghy Jenőnél, majd a Képzőművészeti Főiskolán Glatz Oszkárnál, Párizsban pedig a Julian Akadémián folytatott tanulmányokat. 1925-ben a Benczúr Társaság pályázati díját nyerte, 1926-ban az egyházművészeti táralaton aranyéremmel jutalmazták, 1928-ban Ferencz József-díjat kapott. 1920-tól szerepelt tárlatokon. 1930-ban az Ernst Múzeumban, 1937-ben a Műterem Szalonjában
volt gyűjteményes tárlata.
