Festő, grafikus. Autodidakta művész, szabadiskolákban tanult. Mesterei: Kurucz D. István, Szentgyörgyi Kornél. 1952 óta Esztergomban él. 1973-ban elnyerte az Esztergomért Emlékérmet,1976-ban Komárom megye alkotói ösztöndíját. Nívódíjat kapott 1978-ban és 1986-ban a tatai Tavaszi Tárlaton. 1955 óta kiállító művész, Esztergomban és környékén rendszeresen bemutatja műveit. Egyéni kiállítása volt 1988-ban és 1990-ben Szombathelyen. Művei találhatók a Magyar Nemzeti Galéria, az esztergomi Balassa Múzeum és a tatai Kuny Domokos Múzeum gyűjteményében.
