Festő. A Magyar Képzőművészeti Főiskolán, a müncheni akadémián és 1911-ben, valamint 1918-ban a nagybányai művésztelepen folytatott művészeti tanulmányokat. Réti István növendéke volt, de Ferenczy Károly és Thorma János is korrigálta. 1913-tól vett részt budapesti és vidéki tárlatokon, a nagybányai iskola szellemében festett képeivel. 1919-től Kisvárdán, 1922-től Budapesten, később Egerben tevékenykedett.
