Tibor Kádár was born in Cluj in April 1946.
He died in Veszprém in October 2021, leaving behind a significant oeuvre.
In 1971, he graduated from the College of Fine Arts in Cluj, majoring in painting. Between 1971 and 1974 he taught technical drawing in a chemical high school in Marosúvár, and from 1974 to 1987 painting in the fine arts high school in Cluj.
He considers his encounter with the editorial office of our time and the spiritual workshop of the gallery to be important, as well as the ten summers spent working at the Szárhegy artist colony (1976-86). He gets to know folk art in Kalotaszeg.
Regular exhibitor since 1971. In 1988, he left his native country with his family and settled in Hungary. He taught in an elementary school in Budapest for one year. In 1990, he moved into a studio apartment in Veszprém with his wife and three children. He visited the West for the first time in 1990.
He worked as an art historian at the Veszprém county museum until 1991, when he decided to focus exclusively on painting. For the next nine years, he works in my studio and constantly exhibits throughout Europe. From 2000, he participates as an art instructor and from 2004 as a director of the Herend porcelain manufactory rt. In the work of his school of porcelain painting. He is a member of the Hungarian Fine Arts Foundation, the Association of Hungarian Fine Artists and the Society of Hungarian Painters. For years he was a member and guild master of the Veszprém artist's guild, and in 2004 he founded the f - group, which undertakes figurality, with 5 fellow artists.
