Arató János, SZENTES, 1919 - 1989, SZENTENDRE
Festő. A
budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskolán végzett 1943-ban. Mestere: Szőnyi
István. A budapesti Műszaki Egyetem rajztanszékén dolgozott mint oktató,
egy évtizedig pedig mint tanszékvezető. 1959-ttől aktív tagja volt a
szentendrei művésztelepnek. A nyolcvanas évektől többnyire a Balaton
mellett festett. 1947-től kiállító művész. Egyéni kiállítása volt
1967-ben a Fényes Adolf Teremben, 1982-ben a Képcsarnok győri
kiállítótermében.
