Festő. Képzőművészeti ismereteit Szőnyi István és Aba Novák Vilmos szabadiskolájában szerezte. 1935-től kiállító művész. 1952-ben Munkácsy-díjat kapott. Egyéni kiállításon mutatkozott be a Tamás Galériában 1940-ben, 1943-ban. Csoportos tárlaton szerepelt a Műcsarnokban 1947-ben, a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában 1964-ben.
