Festő. Tanulmányait a budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskolán végezte 1952-ben. Mesterei Szőnyi István és Varga Nándor Lajos voltak. 1949-61 között szakrajzot tanított Budapesten és Kecskeméten. Tanulmányúton járt Olaszországban és Ausztriában. 1957 óta kiállító művész. Egyéni kiállításokon szerepelt. Művei láthatók a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában, a pécsi Janus Pannonius Múzeumban.
