Festő. Tanulmányait a budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskolán végezte, ahol rajztanári diplomát kapott. Mestere Zemplényi Tivadar volt. A kecskeméti művésztelepen dolgozott 1912-ben. Elsősorban naturalista állatképeket festett. 1913 óta kiállító művész. A Műcsarnokban és a Nemzeti Szalonban állított ki. Művei a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában láthatók.
